o9 Solutions

o9 is a software which assembles all of the complex areas of large scale organisations’ supply chain into a single, simple interface.

We built a scalable, swiss-inspired brand identity with a typographic foundation and a flexible grid system.

I led the rebrand and subsequently scaled the team to a full service in-house design team.

Designed in-house at o9 Solutions

Typeface Designed in collaboratin with Plain-Form
Using the name of the company as a starting point, the concept of nine separate points coming together to form one flexible system became the preferred direction.

We used the pillars we initially defined to set the parameters of the Sans Serif Grotesque.

Functionality aside, it was imperative that :o9 Sans had
human qualities and subtle contrast to contrast the rest
of the graphic identity.

Made with type designer
Lucas Descroix.

The site expresses the brand in a more minimal way, featuring less lines and graphic elements. Instead it relies on high contrast hierarchies, powerful imagery and engaging videos.

Videos explaining complex concepts in a simple way. Abstract visuals which compliment the rest of the minimal identity.
